 Like milk powder AMUL, Egg Powder has great demand in the country. Currently, the demand for egg powder is also rising among personal care products, cosmetics, animal feed, and pet food products.

Powdered Egg carries all the usual nutritional benefits of a fresh egg, without the worry of it going bad! They offer a good source of protein, immune-boosting properties and antibacterial qualities.

Like whole eggs, whole egg powder also has the functions of foaming, gelling, and emulsifying. It can be used in baked products to provide these functionalities. But whether it can replace fresh eggs depends on the egg powder's quality. In one study, whole egg powder was used to replace fresh eggs in cake baking.

1 kilogram of whole egg powder = 80 shell eggs.In other words one table spoon egg powder with 2 TS water is equal to one egg.

Powdered eggs have a storage life of 5–10 years depending on the environment. The shelf life can further be extended by placing eggs powdered in air tight containers under anaerobic conditions or placed in a cool storage place. There is no need for any refrigeration or cold chain as in case of liquid eggs.

Eggshell adsorbent can be utilized for soil pollution control and agricultural remediation. Two patented processes claim the use of powdered ES as a soil conditioning agent for soil contaminated by heavy metals.

This egg powder manufacturing process consists of spray-drying a thin layer of egg white, egg or egg yolk. This is done in a room with a higher temperature that enables the water to evaporate out of the eggs. After the egg fluid is completely dried, it is grinded and packed in a hygienic way.
